We are pleased to announce that the III International NeuPsyco Congress “From known to new. Neuroscience and mental health, creativity and innovation” will be held on 6-8 November 2017 in La Habana, Cuba.

The first two editions of the conference were extremely successful events to share knowledge and strengthen collaboration among multidisciplinary researchers and professionals at the international level.

The conference is jointly organised by Sapienza University of Rome, the Cuban Neurosciences Center and the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong.

Objectives of the conference

The main objectives of this conference are:
- Sharing information on innovative technologies applied to human health, wellbeing and mental health
- Exploring the role of creativity and self-development in intersubjectivity, personal transformation and neuroscience
- Discussing the latest developments in clinical, psychological, neurobiological and anthropological research in neuropsychiatry
- Identifying novel public health, ethical and legal implications of neuropsychiatry and neuroscientific resrarch

Instructions for abstract submissions

Deadline for abstract submission extended until 30th September 2017

Each abstract should follow the guidelines below:

  • Title
  • Author names
  • Institution
  • Email address of first author (normally the presenting author)
  • A maximum of 250 words
  • Subsections required for research abstracts (Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions).
  • Indication of preferred mode of delivery (Oral/Poster/No preference)

The space available for oral papers is quite limited. If you wish to present an oral paper please register early, and submit your abstract as soon as possible.

Below is the required format for abstract submission. Use Times New Roman in 12 point and 1.5 spacing, with the title underlined. The conference language will be English.


Oral papers should be 15 minutes in total (12 minutes, plus 3 minutes for questions).

Registration fee: 200,00 euro (100,00 euro for students, 80,00 euro for accompanying person). The registration includes participation at the scientific sessions, materials, certificate of attendance, welcome cocktail and lunches/coffee breaks.
